CLASS ATTIRE

All girls are required to wear a leotard and tights.  The preschool, combo, and hour and a half classes should wear stirrup or convertible tights.  Hair must be pulled back securely.  All boys are required to wear a t-shirt and jazz pants.

All students need proper attire by October 1st.  This policy will be strictly enforced.

 

Dance With Me, Preschool, and Beg. Combo

Patent leather child tap shoes in black. Convertible tights recommended.

Adv. Beg. Combo and Combo Split

Capezio one strap tap shoe in black leather (non-shiny).  Students will go barefoot for jazz.

 

Mini Tap, Tween Tap, and Teen Tap

Bloch tap flex lace up shoe in black.


 

Mini Jazz, Tween Jazz, and Teen Jazz

Students can take class barefoot and a shoe may be determined to go with the costume for their recital routine after December.  

 

Ballet

We suggest pink tights for this class. Capezio or Bloch split sole ballet slipper in pink.

 

Acro gymnastics

Students should go barefoot.  Stir-up tights or dance shorts can be worn with leotard

 

Hip-Hop

Black and white low top converse sneakers. Students may wear clothing other than a leotard and tights as long as it is still form fitting on the upper body.

Competition Classes

Tap (Pre Team Only) - Bloch Tap Flex lace up shoe in Black

Tap (Teams A,B,C,D) - Bloch Respect in Black OR Jason Samuel Smith’s in Black

Jazz (Pre team, Team D and Team C) - Students can take class barefoot and a shoe may be determined to go with the costume for their recital routine after December.  

Hip Hop -TBD by teacher. Please wear a sneaker reserved for studio use only until the teacher decides.

Ballet (Teams A and B) - Pink Leather Elastosplit Ballet Shoe

Ballet (Teams Preteam, C and D) - Pink Leather split sole Ballet Shoe

 

  • Please put your child's name in his/her dance shoes.

  • CHILDREN MUST BE PROPERLY ATTIRED BY OCTOBER 1ST IN ORDER TO TAKE CLASS. THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.

  • Dance attire may be purchased at The Bailey Slipper Shop, 8204 Main Street in Clarence, or online from a dance wear supplier (Discount Dance, Dancewear solutions, etc.)
